Synopsis::
“‘Himghar’ is the story of a middle class man Barun Banerjee a bank employee who gives up revolutionary Naxal activities to support his family. He is a man feared of adversities. So, when he gets a call from the bank head office for an enquiry he gets disturbed. He is questioned about bank transactions under his previous boss Nitya Chakroborty. To save his skin he approaches anyone who can help him. He also decides to sell his house. His family responsibilities, demands of his wife, son always keep him disturbed. When his wife gets pregnant for the second time he forces her to abort the baby. He gradually realizes that the society is built on a hollow foundation with everyone running after their own selfish benefits. ”
